Three Sisters Springs Canal Stabilization Project April 1, 2023-November 2023
This project will restore habitat, including critical manatee habitat, and prevent erosion of sediment into the spring.

The boardwalk and wildlife refuge is accessible by walk in entry 7 days a week, and trolley tours are included in admission every Friday, Saturday and Sunday until next manatee season begins November 15.
Reminders:
- the boardwalk and refuge offers on land, walking recreation only. There is no water access, kayak launch or rentals available at the refuge.
- Handicap parking is available at the boardwalk.
- During the off season admission is reduced to $7.50 per person. $1 off for military
In-Water Recreation (paddling, swimming, snorkeling):
Water access in Three Sisters Springs is available by boat only. You can launch a boat (paddle craft or motorized) on Kings Bay and navigate over to our springs. Only non-motorized boats are allowed in the springs April 1 - November 14. at Crystal River, Florida
Three Sisters Springs provide critical habitat for manatee populations that migrate here mid-November until the late March. During the summer months manatee leave the springs and look for food in the warmer waters of Kings Bay and other areas in the Gulf of Mexico.
