Sing, Dance and Play! at The Howey Library
Presented by Howey Music Series
Bring your lower elementary school student to a Musical Playtime for Developing Young Minds. A fun session that will bring out the creativity and giggles in all.
Engaging in music and movement activities helps young children develop socially, emotionally, mentally, physically and creatively. Literacy development is promoted through music and movement activities. Some activities will incorporate children’s literature as well. As young children learn to make music by singing and playing instruments together, they create important contexts for the early learning of vital life skills such as cooperation, collaboration and group work. Through singing, dancing, and playing instruments we will have a fun time of joyful music making.
This session will be geared towards students in Kindergarten-2nd grade, but is open to siblings and children outside of the age range who may benefit from the program.

Light snacks will be provided by AdventHealth Waterman.
