The SWC Summer Program is a 6-week fitness, nutrition, and wellness initiative designed to empower teens ages 14–18 with the tools and education to build healthy habits that last a lifetime.
We partner with local HIFT (High-Intensity Functional Training) facilities—some of which are CrossFit gyms—throughout Lake County to bring this impactful program to the community. This year, our goal is to reach 100 teens across Eustis and Groveland.
The program runs three days a week and combines structured strength and conditioning workouts with interactive workshops focused on nutrition and wellness. Topics include hydration protocols, building a healthy plate, learning how to read food labels, and wellness practices, stress management, and sleep optimization—all aimed at improving physical health, building mental resilience, and boosting confidence.
The program begins June 2nd.To celebrate the teens’ hard work, we host a Showcase at the end of the program where participants demonstrate what they’ve learned in front of family, friends, and community members.
SWC is a nonprofit organization led by passionate volunteers and interns from the University of Central Florida, working to change the conversation around youth metabolic disease from treatment to prevention.
