City of Mount Dora Musical Theater Camp

The City of Mount Dora Recreation team and shaping heARTS are proud to present: MUSICAL THEATER CAMP 2025!!!

• The first session is our advanced session! Over the last five years, we have had so many campers grow up with us and wanted to continue the program, so we created a camp that is just for our 10-14 year old campers. This camp will take place over two weeks and just focus on the craft of musical theater. Because we only have two weeks to put on a show and learn acting skills that will last us a lifetime, this camp will not be going on any field trips or any trips to the pool! We want this session to really be a masterclass for our performers! There are only 20 spots in this program! This camp will take place from June 16th-27th and there is no camp on June 19th.
• The second session will be our traditional Musical Theater Camp for campers ages 6-12! They will have three weeks of camp and they will go on two field trips and visit the pool two out of the three weeks! There are only 30 spots in this program! This camp will run on July 7th and go through July 25th. The cost is $500 per camper.
Camp is located at the Mount Dora Community Building. Hours 8:30 am - 3:30 pm with free before care, starting at 7 am and free after care ending at 6 pm.
Campers must bring a lunch and two snacks.
All campers will get a show shirt and a pair of leggings or pants as part of their costume.
