Water Day in Tavares

Join the City of Tavares Utilities for Water Day on Saturday, April 25, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Wooton Park for a fun, family-friendly event focused on water education, conservation, and community awareness.

This free event will feature interactive exhibits, games, and prizes while giving residents the opportunity to learn more about how water impacts everyday life in our community.

Attendees will explore topics such as:

Water Conservation – Learn how to reduce unnecessary water usage
Water Pollutant Controls – Discover how stormwater systems drain to lakes
Wastewater – Learn about the treatment process and its impact on the community
Residents are also encouraged to bring used cooking oil to recycle.

Come out and enjoy an educational day with hands-on activities while learning how we can all help protect and preserve our water resources.
