The City of Mount Dora is marking Florida Arbor Day with two special tree planting events that reflect our ongoing commitment to urban forestry and environmental stewardship. Be a part of it!

Friday, January 16 at 11:30 am
Ceremonial Live Oak and Eastern Redbud tree plantings
Donnelly Park, 530 N. Donnelly Street

Saturday, January 17 at 1:00 pm
Native Holly tree plantings
Forest Preserve Boardwalk at the W.T. Bland Public Library, 1995 N. Donnelly Street

Residents can also take part at home. Through the City’s Community Canopy Program, residents can reserve a free one gallon tree selected to fit their property and help expand Mount Dora’s tree canopy. Learn more and reserve your tree at MountDora.gov/UrbanForestry
