The Town of Howey-in-the-Hills is excited to invite residents and visitors to a special Centennial Founder's Day Celebration, marking 100 years since the town’s founding in 1925. This milestone event honors the vision of William John Howey, the town’s founder, whose leadership and entrepreneurial spirit laid the foundation for the thriving community we cherish today.
This celebratory day will feature activities for all ages, including:
Live Music – Featuring s performance by the Z Street Band (visit their website).
Classic Car Show – A showcase of vintage and historic automobiles.
Food Trucks – A variety of delicious food options from local vendors.
Local Market – Crafts, gifts, and goods from local artisans and businesses.
Family Activities – Bounce houses, a rock climbing wall, water slides, and games for kids.
Mobile Gaming Trailer - with large screen TVs, latest game consels, and a huge variety of video games!

Parade at 2:00 PM
The celebration will conclude with a festive parade along Lakeshore Blvd, featuring community groups, stilt walker, decorated floats, and live entertainment.
