10/10-10/31 Pumpkin Patch at Community Church Fruitland Park

Community United Methodist Church will present their 24th annual Pumpkin Patch, taking place at 309 College Avenue, Fruitland Park, FL from Saturday, October 10 to Saturday, October 31. The pumpkin patch features new photo opportunities. A variety of pumpkins and gourds will be available for sale from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm on Saturdays and 1:00 to 7:00 pm on Sundays through Fridays. Pumpkin sales benefit the children and youth of our community.

On Sunday, October 18, from 4:30 to 6:00 pm, Community will host “Praise in the Patch.” This includes uplifting praise music, games and delicious food. Bringing a lawn chair is encouraged. On Saturday, October 31, Community offers Trunk or Treat from 6:30 to 8:30 pm in the church parking lot near the pumpkin patch.

Pumpkin Patch Fundraisers began in 1974 in North Carolina with 3 acres of pumpkins and a partnership with one church. Richard and Janice Hamby have been growing pumpkins and adding partners ever since. After being hit by Hurricane Hugo, Richard and Janice Hamby moved the farming operations to the Navajo Indian Reservation in Farmington, NM.
