10/31 Monster Dash 5K at Lake Sumter State College

LSSC’s Annual 5K/10K Fun Run The Monster Dash is a family-friendly race that runs around Silver Lake behind the Leesburg Campus. All registered participants receive a t-shirt and gift bag. The race is timed with prizes awarded at the end for top runners. Costumes are encouraged! This race course includes scenic views of Silver Lake and is truly fun for the whole family. Although the race is just for fun, runners will be timed and prizes will be awarded to the top runners in each age group and gender. Costumes are encouraged! All proceeds from the Monster Dash benefit the LSSC Foundation, which supports scholarship and education at Lake-Sumter State College.
