Discovery Gardens

Discovery Gardens is nestled on just 4 ½ acres behind the Lake County Agricultural Center. With 20 themed gardens, including a butterfly garden and backyard habitat garden to view birds and butterflies, and six specially designed children’s gardens (including a senses garden!), this botanical garden is a virtual outdoor learning center for young students and aspiring gardeners.

The Discovery Gardens will now be open the third Saturday of each month from 9am - 4pm.
Normal hours for the Discovery Garden are Monday-Friday: 9am - 4pm.
