Homeschool Classes at Oakland Nature Preserve

Oakland Nature Preserve is proud to offer outdoor nature and science experiences to homeschool individuals and groups.

Bring just your students to the Preserve for a regularly scheduled homeschool class or schedule a group class.

Monthly Homeschool Series Class for individuals ages 6-8, 9-12

$12 members (family membership required)

$14 non-members / per student

NEW for 2025 - we will offer the 6-8 age class twice monthly - once on Monday mornings and once on Thursday afternoons. It is the same topic, please choose only one session.

This exciting once a month program (per age group) gives homeschool students hands-on science experience to reinforce topics and skills being taught at home. This program is drop-off only, 2 hours in length and is limited to 16 students (8 student minimum).

To schedule your homeschool group in a private class, please contact our Education Coordinator at education@oaklandnaturepreserve.org. We may be able to accommodate larger groups depending on staff availability.
