Oakland Nature Preserve

The Preserve is located in Oakland, Florida and open 365 days a year. The beautiful wooden boardwalk, upland nature trails and Environmental Education Center are free. Donations are greatly appreciated and allow the Preserve to be open as often as possible. We ask that visitors not bring non-service dogs, since they leave behind a scent that upsets our native wildlife.

We at Oakland Nature Preserve seek to inspire children and adults to become good stewards of the natural environment. The Preserve provides you with a place to explore and come to understand the history and ecology of Central Florida.
