 ity-affirming class is designed for neurodivergent individuals who are inte
 rested in puppetry, theatre production, and creative collaboration. Partici
 pants will explore the fundamentals of puppet performance while also learni
 ng essential backstage skills such as prop handling, set organization, soun
 d cues, scene transitions, and working as part of a production team.\n\nThr
 ough hands-on activities, structured routines, and supportive instruction, 
 participants will have opportunities to build communication, confidence, pr
 oblem-solving, motor coordination, and teamwork skills in a fun and welcomi
 ng environment.\n\nClass activities may include:\n\nCreating and bringing p
 uppet characters to life\n\nPracticing puppet movement, expression, and voi
 ce\n\nLearning how to prepare props and backstage materials\n\nExploring so
 und, and scene-change cues\n\nWorking together to rehearse short performanc
 es\n\nDiscovering different theatre roles based on individual strengths and
  interests\n\nNo previous theatre or puppetry experience is required. Parti
 cipants may communicate, engage, and participate in the ways that feel most
  comfortable for them. The focus is on creativity, connection, and celebrat
 ing every person’s unique contribution to the production.\n\nAt the end of 
 the session, participants will have the opportunity to showcase their puppe
 try and backstage skills in a supportive group performance.
