We have 3 main peach varieties on the farm, each one tastes different.
We are often asked which one is the sweetest. That is hard to say because we have learned that what is sweet to one person may be tart to the next. We encourage you to visit throughout the season, trying each variety we grow and you decide which one you think is the sweetest!
UFBest
The UFBest is one of top 4 peaches grown in Florida. Typically, ripe in April this is one of the earliest peaches to ripen in state. This is packed with flavor and is best picked a little under ripe, when the peach is still firm. Place in hot, sunny spot for maximum sweet peachy flavor.
UFOne
The UFOne is the peach that put Graham Farms on the map. This large, sweet, juicy peach is typically ripe in early May. People come from far and wide to pick this peach each year. It is great picked a little under ripe and ripened up in the sun, or fully ripened on the tree. This peach has a smooth, silky meet that is always a delight to behold.
Florida Glo
Farm regulars watch closely for the Florida Glo to ripen. We have one short row of these Florida melting peaches. This white fleshed peach is super sweet but have a short shelf. They are typically ripe in May. (We have one Florida Prince peach tree, which is also a melting variety. It is nestled in among the UFOnes.)

Just an hour outside of Orlando, Lake County is a delightful drive that still offers much of old Florida.

A little history
The original farm in Umatilla is still a working orange grove, we even have a pineapple orange tree that was originally planted in the 1800s. The farm also boasts acres of peach orchards, blackberries, fields of Sunflowers & sometimes even wildflowers. We have a beautiful, covered outdoor venue surrounded by nature’s beauty perfect for an afternoon picnic or your special event.
In 2022 we expanded to a second location just 10 minutes away in Altoona where we grow strawberries and a variety of seasonal vegetables. Our Altoona Location is open fall and winter.

Great Great Grampa Graham planted his first orange grove on Lake Yale rd in 1918. In addition to oranges, we now grow peaches, blackberries and sunflowers at the Umatilla location. Peaches, blackberries & sunflowers harvest in April & May. Oranges harvest in December. Harvest times are estimates.

We planted our first garden in the spring of 2022. Our Altoona location is a treasure of rich black soil ideal for growing a variety of fruits & vegetables. Strawberries & winter vegetables harvest December-April.
