About Me

Pineapple Girl

Meet Katie Kamala Haley, your guide to cultivating your own bounty of food, herbs, and edible flowers right in your backyard. With over two decades of experience in educating others about the wonders of medicinal plants, I’m dedicated to empowering you with the knowledge and skills to thrive in your gardening endeavors.

As a certified herbalist and aromatherapist, backed by a Bachelor of Science Degree in Holistic Nutrition, I bring a wealth of expertise to the table. My journey has taken me to Asheville, NC, where I delved into permaculture, and across continents, learning the art of organic agriculture from farmers in Europe, South America, and India.

Beyond gardening, I am a Licensed Integrative Therapist, Energy Healer, and Yoga Instructor, offering my services with a spirit of generosity. Whether you seek guidance in cultivating your green sanctuary or support on your healing path, I am here to nurture your growth and well-being every step of the way.

From the moment I walked through the gate, I knew I had entered into a special place. It was magical, serene, and healing…A sacred garden. Katie was waiting for me with a cup of herbal tea. She listened to me carefully, and decided the best course for my session and follow up. Katie has a special gift for healing the soul. I will return again and again.

My daughter and I recently visited Pineapple Peace Garden and had such a wonderful experience! Katie is so welcoming and knowledgeable about creating backyard gardens. We were inspired to start planning one of our own. We loved the flowers and butterflies! Her cottage is truly a healing space as well. We are so grateful for the experience and look forward to going back very soon!

Attending the medicinal plant retreat was refreshing, renewing, and enriching. From the sound therapy treatment in the cottage, to learning about the different plants and making tinctures and Elderberry honey, our day was filled with activities, good food, and great fellowship. It warmed the heart and filled the soul and was an experience to treasure.
