Lake Cares Food Pantry

A Lake County need-based organization whose goal is to feed the body, educate the mind and lift the spirit of all individuals. We accomplish this with a dynamic group of volunteers who source donations, package nutritious food to stretch a family’s food supply and distribute that food to qualifying residents in the City of Mount Dora and surrounding communities.

We offer volunteer orientations on the first Tuesday of most months for those who would like to learn more about the Lake Cares mission, the volunteer opportunities available and experience the day-to-day operations at Lake Cares. Please call our office to sign-up for the next Volunteer Orientation.
