Joseph Steed's Archery

Beginning archery classes are intended for people 8-80 with little or no formal archery training. We shoot Mathews Genesis compound target bows and KAP recurve target bows. Class content includes equipment nomenclature, safety rules, range rules, conduct and the shot sequence. All bows and arrows and targets are provided. Participants need only show up ready to receive training and ready to enjoy different shooting games.

Intermediate archery is intended for the archer who has completed beginning archery or for those who have some training with a certified instructor. This series of classes, typically six, expands and refines the skills introduced in beginning archery using the same equipment and techniques. Class content includes open stance, alignment, draw and anchor, back-tension release, focus and follow through. Attend as many or a few classes as you wish. All equipment and supplies are provided. Simply show up as scheduled.
