Oakland Nature Preserve - Field Trips

Oakland Nature Preserve welcomes students of all ages to visit the 128-acre nature Preserve and Environmental Education Center. We are open 365 days a year from sunrise to sunset.

Oakland Nature Preserve enriches our community with quality environmental programs. Our dedicated education committee has developed curricula to meet the state standards for grades K-5. Our programs teach about natural systems, offering students an opportunity to observe and interpret those systems and understand the need to and challenges of restoring altered ecosystems.

Whether you have an entire grade level, a small homeschool group or a scout troop, we have a program for you! Studying something in particular? Let us know and we can create a custom program for you.
