The Festival of Flight and Flowers, has put together more immersive guided hikes in Lake County. The hikes are a well-paced mix of walks for all levels of fitness, including children, beginners, and advanced nature lovers.

Fall Migration Hike
A 3.0-3.4 mile hike on one of Lake County’s unique sites, focusing on finding fall migrants especially warblers, like Blue-winged, Black-throated Blue, and American Redstart.
Kids Birding Hike
This trip will trigger kids’ powers of observation and open their eyes to an adventurous world full of birds, native plants, and shorelines. It will be like a scavenger hunt!
Florida Scrub Jays
An up-close encounter with Florida’s only endemic bird species, the Florida Scrub-jay.
Beginning Birder Walk
Learn Basic Beginning Birding with a twist of sharping your photography skills.
Come and join us for a two-mile round trip hike from Clay Island trailhead to the Clay Island Tower North Shore of Lake Apopka. We will have a digiscope.
