The Festival of Flight and Flowers, has put together more immersive guided hikes in Lake County. The hikes are a well-paced mix of walks for all levels of fitness, including children, beginners, and advanced nature lovers.

All field trips and hikes require pre-payment prior to October 10, 2018. Full descriptions and registration information is on the website.

Don’t miss this 1.8-2.5 mile hike to see these endangered woodpeckers. Other expected highlights should be Brown-headed Nuthatch and Bachman’s Sparrow.

Join author and naturalist David Rakes on the Timucuan Trail at Alexander Springs. A 0 .9 mile hike. Difficulty Level – Easy.
