Study with a professional violinist!
Violinist Dr. Rachel Friedman recently moved to Lady Lake, FL after finishing her doctorate in Music Education at Florida State University. (GO NOLES!) Rachel teaches violin, viola, cello, piano, conducting, and music theory in the convenience of your own home. Lessons can be scheduled weekly, biweekly, or on a flexible schedule as often as you would like. Rachel is a classically trained violinist who played in the Missouri Symphony Orchestra for 8 years and the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra for 6 years, but she also enjoys playing and teaching many styles of music including bluegrass, gospel, and Irish fiddling!
Dr. Rachel Grubb Friedman has spent her entire life in music as a violinist, conductor, and teacher. Raised in a musical home, she began violin and piano at a young age and started conducting and organizing orchestras in high school. Her love of playing in orchestras and teaching life lessons through musical concepts led her to study orchestral conducting, violin performance, and music education, and she has been performing and teaching for the past 10 years. An avid adventurer, Rachel uses music as a great excuse to travel the world and has performed, learned, and taught in many beautiful summer festivals and orchestras.
